Frozen Thin Mint

Last week, I had the opportunity to create the 40th anniversary signature drink for the Girl Scouts of Central Maryland Distinguished Woman Awards. I made a Frozen Thin Mint, a Girl Scout cookie inspired cocktail that's a chocolate mint cookies & cream spiked milkshake. It's so good even if you don't like cookies & cream or thin mint cookies (both me), you'll find this delicious.


Ingredients:

  • 4 ounces crème de menthe

  • 4 ounces crème de cacao

  • 4 scoops (2/3 cup) vanilla ice cream

  • Thin Mint cookies, crushed (Optional)

  • Whipped cream (Optional)

Directions:

  1. In a blender, add the crème de menthe, crème de cacao, ice cream, and thin mint cookies

  2. Blend until smooth

  3. Pour into glass, and top with whipped cream and crushed thin mint cookies

Notes:

If you don’t have a blender, use 4 ounces cream instead of ice cream. In a shaker, mix ingredients together with ice and pour into cocktail glass
