Halloween is one of my favorite holidays of the year, mainly because of the movies, but I also love the candy (candy corn is my favorite.) A candy board is a creative and festive way for both kids and adults to enjoy the best of fall snacks and candy. These are perfect for Halloween, parties, or movie nights. See how I put together my Halloween Candy Board below.
How do you make a Halloween Candy board?
Similar to a cheese or charcuterie board, you want to make sure you have a variety of items on your candy board:
Something Sweet (Baked)- Not everyone likes candy, so adding baked goods, like cookies, pastries, or cupcakes, works perfectly.
Something Salty- Add popcorn, nuts, pretzels, or chips. You can even make your salty items sweet with a kettle or maple popcorn, candied or chocolate-covered nuts, and dipped pretzels.
Candy (Of Course)- Add a variety of candy; chocolate, bite-sized candy bars, gummy candies, caramels, hard candies, and candy corn. Halloween candy mix bags from the store make it easy to get a variety of candy.
Make it fun- Add your spooky or fall touches to the board. Pumpkins, leaves, hands, trays/bowls, webbing, Halloween-themed candy (eyes, body parts, ghosts, etc.)
Ingredients:
1 container of sugar cookies (I used a variety pack with different colors/shapes)
1 6-pack container chocolate mousse pumpkin cakes
1 cup kettle corn
1 cup pumpkin spice pretzels
2 3-pack bags Peeps
1 cup candy corn
1 cup M&M's
Directions:
Arrange the cookies, candy, and salty snacks on a serving platter/bowls, and enjoy!
